Hi, there.
I'm Dr. Larissa.
First, a little back story. I grew up on the west coast of Canada in a tiny neighbourhood called Deep Cove. Surrounded by mountains, a mossy forest & many rainy days. However, I spent most of my time in an ice rink. As a competitive figure skater, I was intrigued by movement, nutrition, and the capability of the human body.

This is where my story starts.

I competed at the Canadian National Figure Skating Championships in Ice Dance from 2011-2013. Unfortunately, my skating career ended with a chronic groin and low back injury. What I didn't know was that my life after sport would be such a struggle as I was unable to walk, sleep, and do every day activities without that nagging injury getting in my way. Years later, I ended up working with a kinesiologist & naturopathic doctor to heal the root cause of my pain. It offered me an approach that was different. One that was grounded in both science & nature. One that created the space to pause, zoom out & see the whole picture. After all, can you solve a puzzle without taking a step back and looking at the entire picture first?

Coming full circle, here I am today as a naturopathic doctor.
My goal is to inspire & encourage my patients to build lifestyle habits that cultivate wellness from within. I believe in creating a space for my patients to feel heard & supported. My philosophy on medicine is to find the root cause of illness, treat the whole person & educate you so that you can make informed decisions about your health.
